Thomas has been work­ing in the finan­cial indus­try for over 35 years. After suc­cess­ful­ly com­plet­ing his law degree in Basel, he com­plet­ed a finan­cial intern­ship and lat­er man­aged funds of insti­tu­tion­al clients as a port­fo­lio man­ag­er. After posi­tions as assis­tant to the man­age­ment of a supra-region­al bank in Switzer­land, where he built up the fund busi­ness, and the foun­da­tion and man­age­ment of one of the first inter­net banks in Switzer­land, he lat­er expand­ed the pri­vate label fund busi­ness of a large provider in Switzer­land and Lux­em­bourg. Most recent­ly, he was respon­si­ble for the expan­sion and dis­tri­b­u­tion of invest­ment prod­ucts for a large Swiss insur­ance com­pa­ny. As a result, he has rel­e­vant expe­ri­ence in join­ing and run­ning large projects in Switzer­land and Luxembourg.
